For my topic, I'm going to write about chemical decency addiction and the disease of addiction. How it can be a struggle for some than to others.

ReplyDeleteWhat's your argument, though? The above outline reads like an informative paper, explaining the disease in itself. However, you need to persuade me how it's a big deal. How substance abuse and addiction is really bad. Your thesis should stake a specific claim, so the reader knows exactly which way you're leaning with your paper. You also need to examine the opposing side---what do others say about addiction and substance abuse? Remember, this should all be grounded in evidence and research.
